A healing practice, a learning space, and a pretty cool shop.
Intuitive sessions, creative classes, special events, and a community of people who are curious about what else is possible. Downtown Easton.
Creative Spirit is a healing practice, a learning space, and a shop. People come here for all kinds of reasons. Some are in the middle of something hard. Some are curious about the parts of life that don’t fit neatly into language. Some walk in because they saw the candles through the window and wanted to see what was inside.
The work here is intuitive and energy-based. It’s also direct, grounded, and sometimes funny. I don’t do scripts. I don’t do formulas. I sit with you and I tell you what I see. If you’ve never tried anything like this, you’ll find the door is wider than you think.

Holistic Healing
A form of spirit therapy that blends intuitively guided conversation, psychic reading, and energy healing in one expansive session.
Holistic Healing is a name given to a form of healing that is actually pretty hard to name. It is deeply therapeutic, but it is not therapy. It blends psychic work and intuitive guidance, but it is not a psychic reading and it is not something you'd find at a boardwalk, a fair, or a metaphysical shop. It is deeply spiritual, but it is not dogmatic, religious, or prescriptive.
Every session lasts around three hours long.
I don't set a timer and I don't watch a clock. When clients come, they come with so much to work through, they come carrying loads so old and heavy that time can't have a say in how we work through it and when we end the session. I tell clients to always put three hours on the meter and we might need to re-up.
These sessions are for anyone who has felt disconnected from their life force.
They are for the people who feel different from those around them and that difference is causing a quiet loneliness that permeates every corner of their life. These sessions are for the person who has done all of the therapy, who can name all of the ways they've been broken and all of the ways they have rebuilt and yet, there's still something missing.
These sessions are for the people who have an intellectual belief in things greater than themselves, have a deep sense of the meaning of things, but have a total emotional disconnect from the feelings that should accompany such faith.
These are sessions for the ones struggling to process the loss of a loved one, the loss of a life they once thought was theirs forever, the loss of purpose, the loss of faith in things working out even when they shouldn't, and the loss of belief that they deserve forgiveness, second chances, and opportunity.
Our time together is deep and intimate. I spend the early minutes helping us both acclimate to each other's energy and the work ahead of us. I help my clients feel completely safe through the process and help them to open up aspects of their personal energy field that have been hard to reach.
By the end of our first hour we are synced up and moving through the same field of energy, exploring and examining artifacts together, noting meaning behind the finds and in the markings on them, and uncovering a hidden history that has led to the exact energies they came to the session holding.
By hour two we are seeing the connections, dissolving the energetic blocks through simple awareness and understanding, and unlocking whole rooms of potential that haven't been open, for many people, in their entire lives.
At some point around hour three we have reached a place of full understanding. We are at a 10,000-foot perspective looking down and seeing both the history and geography of the landscape of the client's soul, human lifetime, and divine purpose in it all. And from that comes a shift. A full-on physical, emotional, and spiritual change that means we left the old stories where they were and are ready to head into a new terrain. We are ready for what's next and, together, we prepare the body, mind, and spirit for it to begin.
And that's where the energy healing starts.
When the shift happens we switch physical and spatial gears and move to the energy healing room, a safe and quiet room filled with soft textures, warm glows, and soothing music. The client will lay on a massage table, fully clothed, covered in blankets, adjusted with pillows, and given enough help and time to get as comfortable as possible so that their physical body is able to get the deep, molecular-level rest it needs to heal from what was and prepare for what is now ready to begin. Clients are offered eye masks, candles are lit, there are scents and sounds meant to bring the physical and the spiritual into communion for the time they're on the table while I begin the work of energy healing, an ancient and intuitive blend of healing on the energetic plane that spans space and time, dimensions and lifetimes, the past and the future.
I use prayer, shamanic healing methods, frequency work, and a connection between your energy and my own that allows for me to reach the old blocks and dust them away, find the old wounds and patch them up making the healing process complete itself, and work with the client's higher self, guides, and protective beings that have always been walking by their side ready to assist but only when called upon. We will call upon them, feel them lovingly and safely come forth, and experience the beauty of becoming loving awareness, consciousness remembering who they really are, where they really come from, and where they've always belonged.
This is a process of love, peace, comfort, and hope that requires nothing of the client but rest.
By hour four we are wrapping up. Drinking water, grounding with chocolate or snacks, and learning about where to go from here. I explain what comes next and that they should expect a full summary of our session sent to them, along with a set of suggested readings, exercises, and more to help them process and integrate all that took place. These after-session emails are often as powerful as the sessions themselves and clients hold onto these for years, looking back as touchstones and noting how far they've come and how much life has changed for the better.
In a giant nutshell, that's the Holistic Healing experience. But it's so much more than that. It has such an expansive and miraculous effect on the lives of those around the client, ripple effects of healing and transformation taking place in ways that make it clear this work isn't just about healing ourselves, it's about healing ourselves on behalf of those who aren't able to do it themselves yet. We do it for them.
Clients will often come for three Holistic Healing sessions to get to the place where they feel fully done with the work.
The cadence and rhythm of when they come back is entirely guided by their feelings of readiness and their need. Often clients come three times in a period of six months for Holistic Healing. After that, clients will often return for just energy healing as that is an experience that allows for them to maintain the new frequency and plane they are existing on and allows for them to continue the healing on behalf of those who can't quite do it themselves yet. Sometimes life gets challenging again but it will never be what it was before their first session. It never ever gets back to that. But when conflicts arise, when challenges occur, clients often come in for Intuitive Guidance sessions where we are able to reconnect energetically and explore the issues from a higher perspective and come back with clarity and confidence.
And when people simply want to come back to experience the peace and magic of Creative Spirit, they come and take a spin on the sound bed, a vibroacoustic therapy lounge that induces homeostasis, nervous system reset, and physical relief from pain and anxiety.
Creative Spirit offers products and classes to enhance the opportunities for clients to experience Creative Spirit. But at its core, Creative Spirit is me, Marisa McFadden, offering Holistic Healing, a service I have been providing since 2018.
What Clients are Saying

Beyond Holistic Healing
Intuitive Guidance
This is a pathway for those seeking clarity about things happening in life that feel big, challenging, and worth understanding from a spiritual perspective.
In its simplest form, this is therapeutic psychic work. Clients come with questions, issues, worries, and concerns and together, through psychic exploration, we uncover the reasons, the ways forward, and the lessons these moments are trying to teach.
Clients find these sessions helpful when the noise is loud and the answers feel like they’re coming in a whisper.
75 Minute SessionEnergy healing
Energy Healing is a process of tuning into a client’s energy field to find the places that are holding onto pain, blockages, and stagnancy. These are the energies that prevent us from truly connecting with the beauty, hope, and possibility of life- things available to us even in the darkest of times.
Clients come ready to surrender to the work, rest and allow, release and reset. Through prayer, hands on and hands off energy movement, and shamanic practices, something is able to upgrade in our personal energy raising our frequency, expanding our light, and connecting us to the energy of a divine life force that flows through everything.
75 Minute SessionThe Threshold
A guided journey experience that helps you access the realms many use psychedelics to access. This is not about me, Marisa, offering you anything but steadiness in an exploration through your consciousness, other dimensions, and even other lifetimes.
People take these journeys through “inner-space” to find things that are beyond the realm of our thinking brain yet help us to reconcile so much of what we experience in our day to day existence.
It is recommended that clients who come for this do so knowing they will be the navigator and pilot of this ship while resting easy that Marisa will be ready to offer guidance, assistance, and integration of what is discovered on the journey.
Once your session is booked, you will be given a workbook to help you prepare, help me tailor your experience, and help you once the journey is over.
This is a truly powerful and transformative experience that has the power to unlock inner wisdom and higher planes of consciousness.

The shop
In 2020, during a pandemic and a time of deep personal turmoil, I felt rather lost. Creative Spirit was already a thing, my sessions were popular by word of mouth alone, and I was experiencing a time of real success despite the imposed isolation the world was experiencing. I was a lucky one.
But the weight of what was going on around me, the pressure of trying to make things feel safe, happy, and full of hope for the children that depended on me all created a sort of empty paralysis inside of me. Friends were losing faith, family members were watching funerals on zoom, and the remnants of a life that felt familiar and predictable were eradicated and, along with them, my own creative spark.
Creativity was something that healed me, brought me somewhere sacred, and connected me with a sense of faith in the world that I was terrified I was losing.
In a moment that I can only call fate, I scrolled my phone looking for “art supplies that I can keep with me on the couch.” I knew I wasn’t getting back to my large canvases anytime soon. The jewelry I used to love making had too many parts and the effort involved had at times made me tired before I even took it all out.
The paints I found, Vivia Watercolors, were the spark for what has now become the entire shop. Easy, pocket friendly, watercolors that made the most amazing things and, most importantly, could be used while watching mindless TV and sitting on the couch.
In 2020, it was all I could muster.
That rabbit hole of searching for those water colors took me to the weirdest places and I swear something divine was guiding me the whole time. I ended up seeing these pillows on Pinterest during my search that just wouldn’t leave my brain. Cai and Jo, a brand of bright vibrant colors and images inspired me to freshen up my space with throw pillows that I just didn’t know were out there. Then I stumbled upon these rainbow sun catchers that made me feel so inspired when I spotted them. Soon, I was hanging them in the windows of my home.
Like so many people, online shopping got me through. It soothed a pain I was feeling and it gave me the low stakes, low effort inspiration to start changing exactly what I needed to change in my life: my energy!
I tell people all the time, a throw pillow saved me from the true depths of despair! When my creativity returned from the lazy person’s watercolor painting I was doing, when my inspiration returned through a sprucing up of my home and an adding of new colors and images that made me happy, I realized that there was something I was always certain of really showing itself to be true through my actions: shopping can be completely cathartic!
Sometimes in 2021, I moved Creative Spirit from an art studio on the second floor of a building in Easton to a prime location in the heart of downtown right on the street level. And it had the space to start a storefront with the rooms in the back to do my healing work.
No one thought I was crazy when I said I might add on a “little boutique” space to Creative Spirit. No one!
And so, I filled that space with products that I had been encounter in all my couch bound online shopping adventures during the roughest parts of the pandemic. I brought in those exact watercolor paints, the throw pillows, sun catchers, and crystals that I fell in love with. And from there, it caught fire.
People liked what I was curating. They felt inspired by the products, too. I saw that they were having the same reaction I was and the products were having the same impact on their energy that they were having on me: they inspired, they uplifted, and dare I say they started to heal.
What you’ll find here at Creative Spirit is 1000% curated by me, Marisa. I choose things that have an energy that is positive without being performative, things that have the power to inspire and uplift, and things that might even start someone down the path to healing things that have been stuck for far too long.
This shop isn’t everything I do here. In fact, its the side of my business that I’m likely to say “I suck at.” Selling isn’t an energy I like engaging in. Its hard as hell for me. Curating, introducing people to things that I love and think they will love, too, well, that’s more my speed.
When you come to the shop, you’ll some lovely people working it that I rely on to do the stuff I don’t have it in me to do…sell. Sometimes its my kids, sometimes its my friends or family, sometimes its the amazing Lafayette College girls who I have been privileged enough to meet along the way.
I try to keep my prices as low as humanely possible while still paying the bills. I’m not aiming to make a fortune through this work through Creative Spirit, but I hope to pay the rent, give my kids some money to see a movie from time to time, and maybe, just maybe, take a weekend trip to Saratoga in the summer to see the horses run.
So, yes, we have a shop. Yes, I think you’re going to LOVE it! But know you’re walking into so much more when you enter the halls of Creative Spirit! And what you find just might change your life, too!
Meet Marisa, founder of Creative Spirit.
I've been doing this work since 2018. It started in my living room with a handful of people and a feeling I couldn't quite explain yet, and it became Creative Spirit, which is now a healing practice, a teaching space, a shop I'm a little obsessed with, and a growing community in the heart of downtown Easton.
Before any of this I spent thirteen years teaching writing and rhetoric at the university level. I'm a mom of five. I was good at the life I'd built, and then something shifted, the way it does, and I found that I could do things I hadn't been trained for. I could feel what people were carrying in their bodies, pick up on what was sitting underneath a conversation, receive specific information about someone before I'd even met them. It kept being accurate. So I kept going.
Holistic Healing is the work at the center of everything here. Three hours of conversation, intuitive guidance, and energy work. Most people who come to Creative Spirit start there. But this place has grown into something bigger than sessions. There are classes every week, guest practitioners I trust bringing their own work into the room, a community of people who keep coming back, and a shop full of things I've chosen with real intention, from hand-finished French tapestries to small-batch tarot decks by independent artists.
What I care about is doing this with integrity. People come here during some of the most honest moments of their lives and I don't take that casually. I also care about building something that lasts, a space where healing and creativity and curiosity all live under the same roof, and where walking through the door feels less like entering a wellness center and more like finding a place you didn't know you were looking for.
